Alfred James Pacino nació el 25 de Abril de 1940 en Harlem, Nueva York. Sus padres, Rose y Salvatore Pacino, de origen humilde, no pudieron darle excesivas comodidades. Más aún, cuando su padre abandonó el domicilio familiar contando Al dos años de edad. Pacino vivió una infancia llena de todo tipo de estrecheces. |

Ya desde pequeño demostró sus dotes interpretativas. Su madre, siguiendo la sugerencia de uno de sus profesores, instó a Alfred para que se presentara a las pruebas de admisión de la Escuela Superior de Artes Interpretativas de Manhattan. Pacino fue aceptado pero permaneció allí sólo dos años. Creía que el método Stanislavsky que allí enseñaban estaba haciendo desaparecer su placer por actuar. Su abuelo se jubiló y su madre enfermó por lo que tuvo que ponerse a trabajar para aportar dinero a la familia. |

A partir de este momento, empieza la fase de autoconstrucción de Pacino. Trabaja como acomodador, chico de los recados...combinándolo con su formación artística en el herbert Berghof Studio. Un momento durísimo para él, fueron las muertes casi seguidas de su madre y de su abuelo en una época en la que profesionalmente no le iba nada bien. |

Profesionalmente, Pacino pasaba momentos difíciles. Su asistencia al Joe Cino ´s Caffe (lugar de concentración de autores y directores teatrales) y sus monólogos de obras de Shakespeare, despertaron el interés del propio Joe Cino que financió la primera obra en la que intervino Alfred: "Hello,Out There". Este hecho no pasó inadvertido para Lee Strasberg, máximo responsable del Actors Studio, que le admitió en sus clases y pulió su estilo interpretativo. Pacino fue consiguiendo sucesivos papeles en Broadway y se convirtió en un actor habitual de las carteleras teatrales de Nueva York. |

آل پاچینو الفردو پاچينو در سال 1939 در يك خانواده ايتاليايي تبار در نيويورك ديده به جهان گشود . او كه تا سي دو سالگي در پيچ و خم تئاترهاي برادوي و آموزشهاي اكتورز استوديو به پرورش انرژي نهفته در صحنه خود را با نقشهايي نه چندان موفق به آستانه سينما رسانده بود در سال 1972 اين امكان را يافت كه با درخشش در 2 فيلم " ناتالي و من " و " وحشت در نيدل پارك " استعداد كم نظير خود را بروز دهد. از اين پس پاچينو گام در راهي نهاد كه تا به امروز او را به عنوان يكي از بزرگترين بازيگران سينماي جهان و يكي از اساتيد مسلم بازيگري رهنمون كرده است . بدون شك ايفاي نقش " مايكل كورلئونه " در فيلم بي نطير ( پدرخوانده 1) گامي موثر به سوي قله هاي ترقي بود . پس از موفقيت پدر خوانده , پاچينو نوار موفقيتهاي خود را با دو فيلم سرپيكو و مترسك ادامه داد. سرپيكو بار ديگر او را مانند پدر خوانده نامزد جايزه اسكار كرد . نقش افريني دوباره او به نقش مايكل كورليونه و اين بار در فيلم پدرخوانده 2 و اين بار نيز در مقابل يكي ديگر از نوابغ بازيگري چهان يعني دونيرو بار ديگر او را نامزد جايزه اسكاري كرد كه به نظر مي رسيد زمان زيادي را بايد براي به دست آوردن آن تلاش كند . پاچينو دهه 70 را با سه فيلم ديگر به پايان برد كه براي دو فيلم " بعد از ظهر سگي " و : عدالت براي همه " بار ديگر نامزد جايزه اسكار شد |

AL PACINO - probably secretarial (fake)
This is the signature that may be returned to you if you write to Pacino in the mail -- it's likely a "secretarial" because his first and last names are spelled out. But I do know for a fact that Al does spell his first name like "All" with those loops (see authentic version w/ cast above), but that is easily faked.
AL PACINO - via Snail Mail
I sent this photo to Al's address and it was returned with this signature. I am not 100% certain about its authenticity as Al's signature is easily faked. It's signed "All" also, but the last name isn't spelled out. This is likely secretarial, but I'm not certain.
AL PACINO - supposedly authentic
This one I bought from a reputable UACC dealer. It is "guaranteed" authentic, and obtained "in person" by a third-party dealer in New York City. This looks nothing like any other example I've seen elsewhere, but the dealer stands by his word. I don't know, and I doubt it.

AL PACINO - authentic, in-person scribbleI got this one in-person myself after seeing this awesome play in 1996. It's just a scribble because he was running around signing everything. He even shook my hand! :) Al is a great scribbler in-person if you see him after a play or on a movie set. Just don't buy one of these easily-faked sigs unless you trust the guy selling it. |
AL PACINO - auto-penned?
This is the signature you'll see all over the online auctions. It comes with a COA* from Hollywood Dreams who swear on their lives about these. They told me that their autographed photos are sold nationwide through a major chain store and they couldn't afford to deal in bogus stuff. Well, perhaps. But every single example I see of these are virtually identical to each other, and unlike others I've seen elsewhere. I may be wrong, but I can't picture Al signing 1000s of these photos over his morning coffee. I think these are auto-penned. (*Certificate of Assumption)
